Option 2 — Remove DP Contest from your Facebook account
If you signed up using Facebook, you can also request deletion through Facebook directly:
- Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites (facebook.com/settings?tab=applications).
- Find DP Contest in the list and remove it.
- Click View Removed Apps and Websites, then View next to DP Contest.
- Click Send Request to trigger the deletion callback.
Facebook will send us a signed deletion request. We'll wipe your data and provide a confirmation code and a link to track the status of your request.
Option 3 — Email us
If you can't use either option above, email us via our contact page with the email address or username on your account, and we'll process the request manually within a reasonable timeframe.
What happens when you delete your account
- Your email, password, profile picture, bio, and OAuth links are deleted.
- Contests you started (and their images) are removed.
- Votes you cast in other people's contests are removed.
- Anonymized audit log entries may be retained for a limited time for abuse prevention.
Contests started by other users that featured your image as the opponent are not removed automatically — we don't have a way to confirm that you are the subject of a third-party contest. Contact us with the contest URL and we'll review it.
